Official Puppy Cuddling Program – Yes, it’s a real thing!

 

Want to pet dogs for a good cause? You’ve come to the right leash.
At Operation Battle Buddy, we’ve partnered with local rescues like Teacher’s Pet to offer a paws-itively heartwarming way to volunteer: become an official Puppy Cuddler. Whether it’s chasing zoomies in the sunshine or helping an older pup brush up on their leash skills, every wag, walk, and wet-nosed selfie brings a shelter dog one step closer to their forever home.

 

🐶 Here’s how it works:

• We head to Teacher’s Pet Rescue once a month, but volunteers are welcome 7 days a week, morning and evening.

• Our main goal? Get the pups outside. That’s it. Let them run, tumble, sniff, and play together in the fresh air.

• For the older dogs, we work on leash manners and give them some much-needed 1-on-1 time.

• Feel like going for a walk? Grab a pup and go! You’ll both benefit from the fresh air and movement.

• Share your visit! Snuggle selfies and posts help get these dogs noticed, loved, and adopted. Who knew your camera roll could help save lives?
